Firebrand Books

Hey, all–for those of you who dig lesbian fiction and/or feminist (not necessarily lesbian), have a look at Firebrand Books. They’re based in Ann Arbor, MI an publish fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Alison Bechdel‘s Dykes To Watch Out For is published by this award-winning house, along with works by Audre Lorde and Leslie Feinberg.

You’ll also find other cool stuff like mysteries by Ojibwe author Carol laFavor, who writes about Ojibwe detective Renee LaRoche and Rachel Guido Devries’ Tender Warrior, about an Italian-American working-class family.

So take a little sidetrip away from the usual suspects and give Firebrand a try.

Peace out and hope everyone is chill before the holly-daze!

good tip!
