Interviewed in Canada!
Posted on November 23, 2009
Well, kinda. I didn’t get to go there (though I’ve been!), but I did do a land line call with the awesome Laura Yaros, host of Matrix, Canada’s longest-running women’s radio program (Radio Centreville, Montreal). Laura discovered my New Mexico-based series and contacted me on Facebook and we had a wonderful conversation and she was gracious enough to put the interview on the Matrix, which is a HUGE honor for me. Thank you so much, Laura! It was fun talking to you! If you’d like to hear the interview,
Scroll down on that page to the little speaker icon and click that. The interview should be good until Saturday, the day after Black Friday! And then it’ll probably be in the archives. I’ll check with Laura on that.
Anyway, it looks like the weird little glitch with The Ties that Bind has gotten worked out and it is starting to show up on online bookselling sites. There was some kind of communication issue from printer to distributor, but it seems to be slowly resolving. A big thank you to Regal Crest for working so hard to get this taken care of. Something to do with Friday the 13th, perhaps? HMMMMM!
All right, all. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving if you’re here in the States and if you’re not, I hope you have a great week.

Hey, hey–blogging Fridays at Women and Words
Posted on November 6, 2009
Hi, all–
In case you’re interested, we’ve revised the schedule at Women and Words and I’m now blogging on Fridays. This week’s blog is about re-writing and when to listen to that perfectionist butthead perched in your skull who sometimes keeps you from moving forward (losing all my breath…la la la Modern English moment, y’all). Oh, click here to go visit Women and Words.
Happy weekend!
