Blogs’-a’-poppin’!
Posted on February 26, 2010
Hi, folks–wow, if you’re on the East Coast today, hunker down! Scary weather out there. Be safe and stay warm.
And amuse yourself with some blogs. R. G. Emanuelle, my co-editor on the anthology Skulls and Crossbones: Tales of Women Pirates, had a conversation with me and we posted it over on Women and Words. It’s about how we approached putting an anthology together, why we felt the need, and what the process is behind an anthology.
Andi and R. G. examine their Skulls
And check out guest blogger Gill McKnight, award-winning author. She tells us about life and historical coolness on the Greek island of Lesvos.
And there you are. Hope all is well with you and yours.

We love candles, yes we do…

We love candles, how ’bout YOU?
Hi, kids–well, the candle that my co-editor R. G. and I commissioned from candle artist Jfay at Wick’d Reads is up and posed with the book cover for Skulls and Crossbones: Tales of Women Pirates (Bedazzled Ink).
I am planning to do a candle giveaway in the future, so stay tuned. The scent that Jfay (of Studio 3B) created for this candle is called “Walk the Plank” (WOOO!) and it’s a mixture of sandalwood, cedar, clove, and cinnamon.
Here’s the Wick’d Reads page for “Skulls” and I just contacted JFay to see if she can offer more of this candle if you’re interested in playing pirate. YARGH!
And you can buy the book (ebook and print formats) HERE.
C’mon, baby! Light your fires! But please do so responsibly.
