I’m pleased to report that the first book in my Far Seek Chronicles, Friends in High Places, has been shortlisted in the spec fic category for a Goldie award at the annual Golden Crown Literary Society Conference.
In addition, the anthology The Year’s Best Lesbian Fiction 2008, in which my story “Games with Chance” appears was also shortlisted for a Goldie in the anthology category (non-erotica). Congrats to Fran Walker, the editor, and to all the other authors whose work appears therein!
I’m also pleased to report that the third book in my New Mexico series, The Ties that Bind, has been selected as one of 5 favorite mysteries of 2009 by the Lesbian Fiction Readers Choice Awards and it’s been selected as one of 5 favorite general fiction reads in 2009 by the LFRCA.
