Day of the Dead is RELEASED! And giveaway! Holy moly!

Well, peeperas y peeperos! It is officially Day of the Dead today (November 2; if possible, go catch a festival/procession) and I have the WINNERS! Yes, you’ll notice the plural. I just LURRRRV drawing extra winners, ermahgerd! So the following people have won a signed print copy:

Sally
Dora B
Ripley

And don’t worry. I have a tendency to give books away at other giveaways, too. I just love sharing the luuuuuuuv. 🙂

Also, if you see your name on this list and you have not received an email from me, check your spam filter.

Thanks, everyone, for coming by and commenting and thank you so much for your patience on this one. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy your ridealong with Chris and the NM posse.

Hi, kids! JUST IN TIME for Día de los Muertos AND Halloween!

The latest New Mexico mystery, starring Albuquerque detective Chris Gutierrez is available in print and ebook. More venues to follow, so don’t worry, my pretties. They’ll be all over soon enough.

You want a signed print copy? Well, howsabout you leave me a comment on this blog? When you fill out the contact form, make sure you use a working email address. Don’t worry. That address won’t show up in the comment. DON’T post your email in the body of the comment. I’m trying to save you from evil spam-bots, which I’m sure look just like those creepy metal spider things that get into your belly button like in The Matrix.

I’ll do the drawing at 12 PM EST November 2 (that there is the actual Day of the Dead, All Soul’s Day). I’ll post the winner’s name on this blog, at the top. I notify within 30 minutes of drawing the winner, so if you’re the winner posted here and you haven’t heard from me, check your spam filter.

Happy Halloween and good luck!

Oh, and don’t flip out if your comment doesn’t appear right away. If you haven’t commented here before, I have to approve it. Part of my anti-spam measures (I’m saving you from THE MATRIX, people!). There’ll be a lag in the evenings (US time), since I, you know, sleep. But I’ll get you in once I’m up and functional on the mornings. Thanks.

  1. Hey Andi, Sorry, I pressed the wrong key before. I was trying to say that I was very happy the next volume in the New Mexico series is released. I really love that series a lot, and look forward to reading what Chris is up to next. I will contact you privately soon, as I’d like to arrange for an interview for my radio show, like we did a few years ago. In sisterhood, Laura (your Canadian connection 🙂 )

  2. You know I’m all about adding my name to this mix. Loved your first three books in this series, and looking forward to all the twists and turns to come in number four. Cheers!!

  3. Yea! I’m dying to read Day of the Dead! 😀 And it simply must be autographed to match the rest of my Andi Marquette collection. 🙂

  4. Glad to finally be getting the next in the series! It’s one of the few I actually have in book form and not ebook. Love how you describe the area in your books, besides the great characters and stories.

  5. Oh Please pretty please.. she says, waving wildly and jumping up and down.. could i please get a copy of Day of The Dead.. I have been to New Mexico.. actually lived there for awhile.. Can hardly wait to read your book..

  6. As yours are the books I really wait for, I’m happy that a new one is here.

  7. I’m in! Just discovered your books, would be awesome to get an (autographed!) real paper copy! (mmmm the smell of real paper…)

  8. Count me in, too. Always ready for a new title. And signed would be better than fresh apple butter on a buttermilk biscuit! Bang up job!

  9. I am so stoked to read this book. I purchased it yesterday and can’t wait to fire up my kindle tonight. I absolutely love this series. You are one of my favorite authors. I love the depth of the characters and the dialog you weave.

  10. Well, since my first comment couldn’t be posted, I guess I’ll try again. Andi, I would not have thought I would have been a fan of this series. As I read the first three books, I became hooked. It’s a wonderful series and I love your writing. I hope I get to read this new installment. Congratulations on your new “baby.”

  11. I am not familiar with your books, but Jessie Chandler shared your link, so I suspect you write good books. 🙂

    • Hi, Ron — thanks for stopping by and so glad you have the rest of the series. The drawing, however, was held at 12 PM EST on the 2nd (US time, in case you’re not in the US). I do appreciate that you came by, though. And don’t worry; there’ll be other opportunities to win. Thanks again.
